Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Deignan Digital collects, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Deignan Digital is a UK-based website and email marketing business run by Evan Deignan. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us at hello@deignandigital.com.
What we collect
When you ask for a free enquiry plan or contact us, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your business name, what you do and the area you cover
- your website address, if you have one
- anything else you choose to tell us in your message
How we use it
- To prepare and send your enquiry plan, and to reply to your messages. This is because you asked us to.
- To send you occasional practical tips by email, unless you ticked “Don't send me tips”. Because you contacted us about our services, we may email you about similar services we offer. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
- To keep simple records of enquiries and clients, which we need to run the business.
We never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted services to run the business, such as our email provider, email marketing platform and website host. They only process your information on our behalf. Some of these services may store data outside the UK, in which case they use approved safeguards to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 2 years after we were last in touch, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to make sure we don't email you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop us using it. Email hello@deignandigital.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
